Modsbase.com is an Online Service Provider under Title II of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512 ("DMCA"). We take copyright infringement very seriously and will respond promptly to valid takedown notices submitted in accordance with the DMCA.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content hosted on Modsbase.com infringes your copyright, please submit a formal DMCA notice containing the following information:
- Identification of the copyright owner. Identify yourself as the owner of the copyrighted work, or provide proof that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner (e.g., power of attorney, authorization letter).
- Your contact information. Include your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Clearly describe the copyrighted work that you believe is being infringed.
- URLs of infringing content. Provide the specific Modsbase.com URLs where the allegedly infringing material is located. List each URL on a separate line in plain text format.
- Good faith statement. Include the following statement: "I believe in good faith that the use of the described material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- Accuracy statement. Include a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Important: Do not send file attachments, images, or PDFs — we will not open them for security reasons. Only URLs in plain text format will be accepted.

Processing Time
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will investigate the claim. If we determine the report is valid, the infringing material will be scheduled for removal within 1 to 24 hours.
Counter-Notification
If you are a Modsbase.com user and believe your content was removed in error, you have the right to file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Identification of the material that was removed and its original URL
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
